Evaluation of Soil Liquefaction Using SPT Data at Boyolali Regency, Central Java

Abstract On 27 May 2006 at 05:54 local time, a major earthquake with moment magnitude ( Mw ) of 6.3 occurred in Yogyakarta Province. This was widespread causing several damages Province and Central Java One the regencies impacted Boyolali Regency. research aims to evaluate soil liquefaction based on Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) Evaluation necessary minimize damage as preliminary determining mitigation methods that can be applied. Besides earthquakes, according SPT Data, factors triggered were found this study area such shallow groundwater table existence poorly graded sandy layer. The evaluated by comparing Liquefaction Severity Index LSI Risk LRI using simplified method. Based analysis, result showed Regency had value range very low until severity high risk.
